Most orders are processed and shipped within 1-5 business days but on occasion longer processing times are unavoidable. Orders requiring custom painting, or special assembly, can take up to several weeks. If a significant delay is expected, we will contact you by email and/or by phone. We encourage you to advise us of your time frame (for example: "Needed for a birthday on the 14th"), either in the Special Instructions section of the shopping cart checkout, by calling our toll free number 1-888-825-8697, or by email to customerservice@toysoldierco.com, and we can alert you to the expected turnaround time.
We ship to U.S. addresses at the rates quoted above by our choice of USPS First Class or Priority Mail or U.P.S. Ground service. If you have a preference for USPS or UPS, let us know in the Special instructions box in the shopping cart checkout. If your choice requires extra expense we will let you know. If actual shipping costs are higher we reserve the right to hold shipment until approval of additional charge is obtained.

Our Toy Soldier Company playsets always ship free to U.S. addresses! (Overseas customers must pay the rates as for all overseas orders.) The free shipping status applies only to products marked as 'Playsets by TSC', as well as any others with a 'Ships Free' banner.
We can provide UPS Air Delivery services to US domestic addresses upon request. Use the Message box on the Shipping Instructions page of the checkout to provide your deadline and request a quote for Express delivery - or email customerservice@toysoldierco.com, or call. We will provide a ball-park cost and, if you approve, obtain your payment information to make the additional charge. These services cost a minimum of $40.

We ship to most countries in the world and appreciate our international customers! We ship using USPS First-Class Mail International or USPS Priority Mail International service. These shipments generally take 7 - 21 days, although delivery time is unpredictable because of time required for customs clearance. We do not offer express international services such as FedEx, and we do not accept orders requiring contact with third-party shippers.
Depending on the size, weight and destination of an international parcel, shipping cost can vary greatly. We charge an average cost for international shipping ($30 all countries but Canada, $20 for Canada). After an order is packed and the actual shipping cost is calculated, we will contact you for additional funds if necessary. We will provide a link to pay the extra cost through our shopping cart. If the actual cost is lower, we will refund the difference to your payment form. For international orders of our Toy Soldier Company playsets, the shopping cart will not apply any shipping charge at the time of checkout. The full shipping cost will be calculated and a link will be sent to the purchaser for payment.
Duties and taxes are not included in the total at checkout. They are determined by the customs agency within the destination country. Although charges are not always incurred, assessment of duties and taxes will be based on the value of the order and the tax-free threshold, if it exists, for goods imported into the destination country. We are not able to determine these fees as they vary from country to country. The best way to calculate the costs is by contacting your local carrier office. Payment of any duties and import taxes is the responsibility of the recipient, and these fees are collected at the time of delivery.
The Toy Soldier Company has a strict policy to accurately report the value of all shipments. Packages refused due to customs charges are refundable for their value only (and then only if and when the refused parcel is returned to us). We have had many years experience shipping internationally, and have many satisfied repeat international customers. Please contact us if you have questions or concerns about international orders.
Add items to your online shopping cart. When you are ready to check out, the shopping cart will give you the option of registering. If you choose to register, we will store your address information and your order history. We do not store any payment information (read more about our Security Policy). If you prefer, you can check out as a guest. Once your address has been entered, the shopping cart will present you with shipping options and costs which you can consider before moving forward to final payment. Your credit card or paypal account will be charged at the time of checkout. If items are out of stock or the order cannot be filled completely for another reason, we will refund your credit card. You are welcome to mail in an order. Click here for our Mail Order Form. Print out a copy, fill it out, and calculate the appropriate shipping cost and tax, if applicable. Include a check or money order (from U.S. banks only), or your credit card information (we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover). If you wish to pay with Paypal, please be sure to include your email address. We will contact you with the confirmed total with instructions on how to pay directly to our paypal account.
Orders paid by check will be held for 1 - 2 weeks to allow for check clearance. If we are unable to complete an order paid by check or money order, we will send substitutes, if specified, or refund to the form of payment provided. Learn more about how we handle incomplete orders.

When you check out from the shopping cart, your credit card or paypal account is automatically charged. Phone orders and mail orders are charged once the order has been filled. Our shopping cart payment system is designed to protect the security of our customers to the highest degree. After your credit card is charged in the check out process, your payment information is not stored and is not available to us. Residents of New York and New Jersey must pay sales tax on the total cost of goods plus shipping. The sales tax rate for New York is 8 3/4%. The sales tax rate for New Jersey is 6.625%.
Our website reflects many thousands of products, almost all of which are in stock at any given time. On occasion, products will sell out and re-stocks are not available. If you order a product which we are not able to supply, we will refund the amount of the missing item to the payment method you used to place the order. Where possible, we will try to contact you to determine if you would like to make a substitution for the missing item(s). We encourage you to include substitution suggestions in the Special Instructions box of the shopping cart.
We pride ourselves on our customer service and will correct any error to the best of our ability. We will refund shipping charges if an error is made on our part. Except as noted, all items are returnable for refund, credit or exchange within two weeks of delivery. The following items are NOT returnable: sale or discounted items (which are sold in as-is condition), custom-painted (by TSC) figures or accessories, books, and out-of-production merchandise. Out-of-production boxed sets or any boxed sets where we deem the return to negatively affect the potential for resale will not be accepted for return.

Contact Jamie Delson, the owner, by phone (1-888-825-8697 or 1-201-792-6665) or by email at jamie@toysoldierco.com within two weeks of delivery. All returns must be pre-authorized by Jamie. After receiving authorization, simply return the goods for a credit or refund (please specify) of the purchase price. We do not refund shipping charges on returns or exchanges.If you wish to return opened bags of figures or other items which have already been opened, we will accept them, but there will be a 20% restocking charge on all such goods. On playsets, a flat $10.00 restock charge applies whether or not they have been opened (this box pays for a new box for the next customer). Incomplete sets will not be accepted for return. Responsibility is on the customer to ensure that returned merchandise reaches us in the same condition it was shipped, or it cannot be accepted. Please use stout cardboard boxes and plastic packing chips as we do, not envelopes, jiffy bags or other lightweight packaging.

We offer a generous interest-free layaway plan. Since our website shopping cart can only charge the total of an order, please contact us directly by email or phone if you wish to start a layaway and we will assist you.
Everything in our inventory with the exception of current metal sets is eligible for layaway. Order as many items as you wish, taking full advantage of our sales and discounts, and pay off your order over a period of three months. You must pay at least 25% of the order total to place the layaway. You then have 90 days to pay off the balance, on any schedule you choose. We will fill the order and set the goods aside for you. Once you begin a layaway, you cannot alter the order by addition or deletion. You are responsible for keeping track of the outstanding balance and due date. If you fail to pay off the balance in 90 days, you forfeit any goods paid to date. Contact us by phone or email with any questions.
We do our best to keep the price listings of our extensive inventory current, but we reserve the right to change prices without notice. Customers are automatically given the option of returning all goods which have been re-priced if they have not been notified in advance.
