In one of history's most amazing last stands, a small contingent of about 150 British troops stood off 20-30 times their numbers in 1879's siege of Rorke's Drift during the Zulu War. As memorably re-enacted in the classic film, "Zulu," a company of soldiers from the 24th Regiment of Foot stood their ground behind improvised walls of mealy bags, biscuit boxes, overturned wagons and ordinary furniture as wave after wave of highly disciplined Zulu warriors attacked their little defensive position over the course of a day's continuous fighting. With this battle set you can re-enact the battle, as well as other engagements from the Zulu War. Figures include Marlborough Zulus and British,Call to Arms British, plus Dulcop and M.P.C. Zulus.
