We sell only 1st version Timpo recasts, which were made in England out of a traditional soft plastic. These are made out of the same plastic that Timpo used in their original run of plastics in the 1950's through the 1970s. All the 1st version figures we sell are long out of production, but we still have them in stock. Timpo now casts their 2nd version recast soldiers in in China. They are made of a heavyweight PVC plastic, which is dense and lacks the "feel" of the original figures and the 1st version recasts. To our knowledge, all other dealers worldwide only carry the 2nd version recasts, while we only carry the 1st version recasts.
