Painted Plastic	54mm (1/32nd - about 2 1/4 inches high)

Manufactured exclusively for us by Form Tech, this is an historically accurate model based on the famed Federal ironclad, U.S.S. Monitor, which fought The Virginia to a standstill off Hampton Roads in the World's first ironclad engagement. The ship is a large waterline model, constructed of sturdy foam and painted gray, and it measures 20 inches long x 8 wide x 4 1/2 high. It's a 2-piece vessel, with a single solid deck and a hollow casemate to sit atop it. The casemate can be lifted off. With this vessel you can place 2 naval guns and 6 crewmen inside. We suggest using the CTS Naval Cannon to gun it, and Ideal Sailors to crew it. (54mm metal figures shown for scale, not included in the set) Painted in overall gray.
