(The Collector's Guide to Plastic Toy Soldiers 1947-1987) This work is similar to both Opie and Geppert, but it contains more soldiers than Opie and real photos, not photocopies, as in Geppert. It's The Collector's Guide to Plastic Toy Soldiers 1947-1987 by George Kearton. Published in a limited run of only 1000 copies, each signed and numbered, the guide contains photos of nearly 900 figures by over 80 makers from around the world (mostly European manufacturers), breaking the soldiers into historical eras.
