Throughout the 1970s and 80s the expectation of a Soviet-led invasion of Germany was one of the greatest fears in many military minds. This set recreates a full-scale battle in that what-if scenario, involving 100 Soviet Troops and N.A.T.O. infantry, in authentic modern uniforms (some of which are RARE, long-discontinued models from the 1970s and 1980s). The set comes with a huge array of accurate military hardware, including Soviet and American tanks, missile launchers, a helicopter. armored personnel carrier and much more. (Please note that some of the figures shown in the photo have been replaced with other historically accurate models because they were no longer available)

Please note: Although the battery-powered tanks included in this set were intended to be functional models, their motors were poorly designed and didn't work. That's why they were discontinued. They still make great pretend toys!
