The Germans built very impressive defense works when the time came to shore up the wide-ranging frontiers of the 1000 year Reich. Their superb engineers designed and built a wide variety of terrain-specific bunkers, using steel-reinforced concrete to exploit the natural defense they occupied.
This position, suitable for a large artillery piece or anti-aircraft gun, measures 4 7/8 inches wide across the front x 4 7/8 inches deep x 5/8 inches tall. (Airfix HO figures shown for scale in the 2 views shown of the position)
