Painted Plastic

The pageantry of England is displayed in this classic collection of painted plastic and metal miniatures. Once a year the British Sovereign's birthday is marked by a parade of a noted regiment. Our version of this event is a colorful display of The Scots Guards. This bundle contains a painted Queen Elizabeth, painted metal Scots Guards Mounted and Foot Officers, two painted metal Scots Guards Bagpipers, four painted metal Sentry Boxes and 28 painted plastic Scots Guards mounted on painted metal bases. This collection allows the young collector to play with best quality soldiers that serve equally well as British infantry, as Guardsmen from Hans Christian Anderson's "The Steadfast Tin Soldier" and as fair representations of the Guards from "The March of the Wooden Soldiers." The plastic figures are in excellent-mint condition and will take a lot of play wear. The metal items is in mint condition, never having been unwrapped from their original packaging.
