This bundle contains one retired painted metal Scots Guard Officer (set #08018) and 6 painted plastic Scots Guards mounted on painted metal bases (from set #07250). All were produced by Britains in the heyday of their production in the 1980's and are long-discontinued. These allow the young collector to play with best quality soldiers that serve equally well as British infantry, as Guardsmen from Hans Christian Anderson's "The Steadfast Tin Soldier" and as fair representations of the Guards from "The March of the Wooden Soldiers." The plastic figures are in excellent-mint condition and will take a lot of play wear. The metal figure is in mint condition, never having been unwrapped from its original packaging.
