Our Collection of Painted Metal 54mm (1/32nd - about 2 1/4 inches high)
Here's a nice little set to start off your beginning collectors. It includes a long-retired painted metal model of Queen Elizabeth II, plus 4 retired painted plastic Timpo recast swap-type British Guards and 2 painted plastic retired Timpo Sentry Boxes,
You see these soldiers on duty outside Buckingham Palace and other important British institutions. The plastic swap figures allow you to take apart and reassemble each model from a variety of parts. Each figure is made up of a hat, head, body trunk, legs and a base. As most parts are cast in different colors (black hat, flesh head, red body, etc) the figures appear to be painted. There are also painted details added to increase realism.
