These retired figures were produced by Airfix in England in the 1980s. This lot features 14 Space Warriors in all 7 poses, based on the characters of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa and Darth Vader from Star Wars. At the time these were made a number of toy soldier manufacturers, including Airfix, Cherilea, Starlux, TimMee and Britains were falling over themselves to cash in on the Star Wars craze. None of the figures were exact copies of Star Wars costumes, but just to look at them is proof enough. All figures are in their original box, which is in mint condition, still in its original shrink wrap. The photo shows the seven poses which are included in varying quantities, according to the recipe followed the day they were packed by Airfix. The box in the photo is one of several we have in stock and is indicative of the condition in which the set will reach you.
