Unpainted Plastic 54mm (1/32nd - about 2 1/4 inches high)
In this alternative version of the canoe set, the braves are different colors and the canoe is blue. Each brave is composed of a head with hair and headband with feathers, an upper body holding a paddle and a lower body to kneel in the canoe. The figures' knees have holes in them to accept pegs set into the canoe. The figures are removable.
Following in the footsteps of Britain's 'Swoppet' line, Timpo created a range of 'Swap-type' figures in the 1970s which is among the most popular lines we sell. Using a secret method (now lost forever) in which various colored plastics were fused together into one figure, Timpo created the first fully colored soldiers without the use of paint. This unique process avoided the chipping, fading and other signs of aging that painted plastic figures had experienced. As these particular figures are quite fragile, we suggest that you do not try to take the apart for reassembly. We cannot replace damaged pieces.
