Unpainted Plastic

This mint-bagged set was purchased direct from Timpo in the 1970s, and we are selling it exactly as it was received. The detail photos show all the parts.

Bag 2 – German infantry: nine soldier tops in six shapes. (9 pieces)

Bag 3 – German infantry: nine heads, 2 Schmeisser submarine guns, 2 Luger pistols, two rifles, one hand grenade, one ammo box. (17 pieces)

Bag 4 - German mortar team: including two figure tops, 2 figure bottoms, a bush, a base, 2-piece mortar and four mortar shells. All pieces plug into base. (9 pieces)

Bag 5 - American infantry: 9 sets of legs in three shapes, nine bases in three shapes. (9 pieces)

Bag 6 - American infantry: nine body tops in six shapes. (9 pieces)

Bag 7 - American infantry: nine plug-in helmets, nine heads, one Tommy gun with drum magazine, one Tommy gun with stick magazine, four rifles and a colt semi-automatic pistol. (25 pieces)

Bag 8 - American infantry: RARE U.S. Driver - one body top (not a repeat from bag 6), one seated set legs (not a repeat from bag 2), one plug-in helmet, one head, one Colt semi-automatic pistol and two sets of wheels with axles. (7 pieces)

Bag 9 - American infantry bazooka team: including base, bazooka, one bazooka shell to be held by figure, 3 extra bazooka shells, two individual wall pieces, 2 soldier tops, two sets of legs, 2 plug-in helmets and two heads. All the pieces plug into the base. (14 pieces)

Bag 10 - US vehicle parts: canopy, two Jerry cans, one red cylinder, one undercarriage part, two silver things (?), yellow flag, shovel, antenna, US infantry body top, plug-in helmet, head, heavy machine gun to plug into vehicle and rifle. (14 pieces)

Bag 11 - German vehicle parts: - canopy, two Jerry cans, one red cylinder, one undercarriage part, two silver things (?), yellow flag, shovel, antenna, German infantry body top, head, heavy machine gun to plug into vehicle and rifle. (13 pieces)

These long-retired figures were produced by Timpo in England. They were made in unpainted plastic, but appear to be painted as they were cast using a method (now lost) in which different colors of plastic were fused together by the manufacturer to give the models the appearance of being painted. All in new, mint condition. Although originally created to be swappable, we don't recommend it, as the plastic can sometimes shear off. We pack these with great care and include instructions for assembly and disassembly. We cannot replace any pieces.The set is sold as-is.
