This is a set of Britain’s Foreign Legion with additional models by other makers.

9 Britain’s figures (some of them repainted or with paint loss and/or damaged): two standing firing, two charging (bayonets off), 1 kneeling officer with binoculars, one kneeling firing, 2 marching (bayonets off), 1 bugler. Plus 9 figures and 2 accessories by other makers: marching officer, two man machine gun team, five kneeling at the ready, one bugler with 2 large palm trees. These original Britain's hollowcast figures and figures from other makers are from the owner's personal collection. The Britain's were produced before 1966, when all metal toy soldier manufacturers were required to cease production of their lead toy soldiers. The other pieces were all made after 1966. We describe these much-loved figures as being in "fair-excellent" condition, as some show significant paint loss and/or damage.
