A pre-owned collection looking for a good home!
This is a mixed lot of 29 foot and mounted figures and a cannon, which range in condition from fair to good. Many are damaged.
Infantry:
Four standing firing (two good, two damaged)
Two kneeling firing (both good)
Two kneeling at the ready (one good, one damaged)
Three standing at the ready (all good)
Three officers (all damaged)
Three flagbearers (all good)
Two buglers (both good)
Two artillerymen (1 good, one damaged)
Cavalry:
Three officers (all damaged)
One bugler (good)
Four troopers (all damaged).
Artillery:
One lead field piece (good),
These are original Britain's hollowcast figures are from the 1950s and 1960s. They were produced by Britains before 1966, when all metal toy soldier manufacturers were required to cease production of their lead toy soldiers. We describe these much-loved figures as being in "fair-good" condition, as many are damaged, but some are in pretty good shape. Some are missing parts. There is some paint loss. This is for the fixer-upper, or those who want to increase the size of their collection for a song.
