This is our in-house painted version of the wall with gate.
The wall with gate is an element of Barzso's modular City of Tripoli town wall series. These pieces were not part of his "Shores of Tripoli" playset, but were intended to enhance play by enlarging the environment. Ron Barzso made two different wall sections, one with a gate, the other without. These pieces can be used interchangeably to create an endless wall, a 4-piece (or more) stand-alone fortress of be mixed with other foam buildings and fortification elements to build an entire city. You can, of course, use these walls in many different historical eras. Measures 22 inches long x 8 8inches wide x 9.5 inches high.
The Barbary Pirates were the scourge of the Mediterranean sea for hundreds of years. Beginning their depredations during the Renaissance, they continued their raids, sea battles and "ransom business" through the first half of the 19th century.
