Amazons in Action!

This range of mounted Amazon figures was made by my great friend, John Monteith. It was "Monty" who invented and developed the conversion method we have used for over 40 years to make entirely new figures out of existing soldiers.
He cut up existing models with a craft knife, then welded together the parts into exciting new figures.
The Amazon project was his last before his death in January of 2018. Using Louie's Beauties as the basis for his army, he added parts from Hat Romans, Marx Vikings, Accurate and Airfix knights, as well as sculpting bits of plastic scrap into armor, clothing and jewelry for his Amazons to wear.
The photo shows 3 figures, but Monty's output ran into the hundreds, so what we send you will be similar to, but not precisely the same as, what's shown. We do guarantee that practically every figure is different, so there is no chance of your receiving duplicates if you order in quantity.
