Dorset Toy Soldiers' Heroes of Rorke's Drift Limited Edition Series. The Toy Soldier Company commissioned Dorset to produce this exclusive range of action vignettes. They produced only 12 of each set EXCLUSIVELY for the Toy Soldier Company.

During a massive Zulu attack against the Rorke's Drift hospital, Corporals Robert and William Jones alternated their duties between keeping the warriors at bay and carrying the wounded from room to room until all the survivors were able to be evacuated. Set includes Robert Jones and William Jones carrying a wounded soldier to safety.
'The Heroes of Rorke's Drift' features the men who won Victoria Crosses for their courage above and beyond the call of duty at the Siege of Rorke's Drift during the Zulu War of 1879. Each vignette features 3 figures in action, one or more of them named characters in the act of winning his/their V.C.'s. Each figure comes on a separate base. They can be used as in this vignette or as part of a larger scene.
