Painted Plastic 60mm (about 2 3/8 inches high)
16 hand-painted knights in 16 poses, plus 4 painted horses. Knight colors vary between silver and gold, horse poses and colors vary. Medieval Russian knights, equipped with 13th-14th century "Brigantine" or "Lamellar" armor (overlapping metal plates sewn onto a leather or fabric jacket. The leather anchors the metal and gives the suit flexibility, while the overlapping plates help deflect most attacks). The rest of their bodies are covered by think chain mail and/or partial plate armor, covering joints, legs and other areas. In this way, these warriors are protected from head to toe, with only their faces left exposed. As Russian fighters, this protection would be necessary against mass arrow-attacks by Mongols. Against fellow Christians, these warriors would be able to slug it out in the battle line against such enemies as Teutonic Knights, Hungarians and Poles, while they would prove stout opponents to Ottoman armies of the period.
