While researching the Indian Mutiny some years ago, I happened upon the Osprey book which detailed some of the units and uniforms of the campaign. On the cover was a colorfully-attired British officer, Major Probyn, of Probyn's Horse. I took an assortment of Britains Deetail figures and converted them into the officer, based on the art. The regiment was also known as 11th King Edward's Own Lancers. If you look closely, you'll see the mounted officer is a conversion of the Deetail mounted Civil WarsOfficer, the charging fellow is adapted from a 7th Cavalryman, and the other three figures are all animated versions of Deetail Scots Guards. This is a one-of-a-kind set, made and painted by Jamie Delson for use in Harold's Rangers.
