This beautiful frontier fort stands as one of Ron Barzso's greatest accomplishments. The all-wood outpost, manned by British and allied Colonial forces, was immortalized in "Last of the Mohicans" and lives again in miniature. Built in 1755 and in service through the summer of 1757. The French and their Native American allies laid siege to the Fort in 1757 and forced a British surrender.
The large fort measures 48" by 48" and is made up of fourteen (14) pieces: three straight walls, wall with gate, four corner bastions, a 2-piece headquarters building, two ramps for gaining access to the walls from the courtyard, an interior entry ramp and an exterior entry ramp.(54mm figures are shown for scale)
