This set includes 2 different trench corner pieces, each measuring an inch square x 1/2 inch tall. One allows a right turn from the front wall, the other a left turn. Two views of the corners are shown, the wood-planked interiors at the top and the sloped-earth front sides at the bottom. Airfix 25mm WWI figures are shown for scale.
This superb modular trench system features a variety of different terrain elements which can be combined into a practically limitless series of defense works. Each piece fits neatly alongside every other element, so you can create long trench lines, a multi-layered defense-in-depth and many other types of defenses, suitable from the mid-19th century through today. Each piece features a sloped-front of piled earth and a rear side of a wood-reinforced shoulder-high firing step.
