Can Elliot Ness Bring Down Al Capone's Empire?

Many of us Baby Boomers grew up watching Robert Stack and his intrepid band of honest (unbribable) FBI agents cracking down on Al Capone, Frank Nitti and the rest of the Chicago mobsters who terrorized The Windy City in the 1930s. It was such a popular television series that Marx created a famed (and fondly-remembered) playset based on it. But that was in the 1960s, and all that remains of the set are the figures and a great set of plastic accessories. The colorful tin lithographed street front, warehouse and beautiful tin litho cars are just a memory.

Recreating this set has been a 30 year odyssey for me. But at last I have gathered a great collection of in-production and long-retired toys to make this set again. To supplement the figures we have 2 authentic tin litho trucks (a Model T Truck and a Chevy pickup truck), a beautiful BMC Villa for Capone's residence, 5 additional buildings which have interior rooms to use for extra play value, Marx "Chorus Girls" plus a great set of bootlegging and warehouse accessories (including huge beer vats, whiskey kegs and a loading dock) with 2 REAL working "1-armed bandit" slot machines. For me, the dream of reintroducing the set has come true. I hope it provides you with many hours of fun.
