Napoleon's Last Victory!

In 1815, Napoleon fought his final campaign to try and save France from the approaching armies of Russia, Prussia, Austria and Britain. With the massed armies of his opponents closing in on all sides he took a final gamble: if he could eliminate the Prussians and British, he might be able to turn and face his other foes. The first step would be to separate the British and Prussians, who were marching to join forces. This he did in two battles: Quatre Bras against the British and Ligny against the Prussians. He won both battles, but they still managed to rendezvous at Waterloo, where he met his doom. This giant set features the grand armies of Napoleon and Field Marshal Blucher, who battled it out at Ligny. The French won Napoleon's last victory, but failed to break the Prussians completely, allowing them to withdraw to fight again. This assortment of unpainted plastic Napoleonic figures includes Timpo, Armies in Plastic, Marx, Reamsa and CTS, plus accessories by Marx and Americana.
