Britains Deetail Catapult and 4 Storm Knights (2 Deetail Knights and 2 Herald Artillerymen)
mint in Original Box #7788 (bar coded 0 5024217788)

Working catapult and 4 dismounted painted figures (2 Storm Knights on on metal bases and 2 Herald Artillerymen on plastic bases)

2 of these figures are Britains Deetail Foot Storm Knights, but the other two are reissues of the great Herald Norman artillerymen from the 1960s. Each of the 4 sets Britains released in this range features 2 of the Herald models. So if you get all 4 sets you'll receive 4 in 4 poses as Silver Knights and 4 in all 4 as Storm Knights. We also sell the artillerymen separately.

This retired set was produced by Britains in 1986. It features a catapult and 4 figures in 4 different poses in pristine, mint condition. They are packed in their original window display box which has never been opened. As we have more than one of these sets, the photographs of the box and figure poses may not precisely match what you will receive, but we guarantee that you will receive a mint, unopened box of the same vintage and condition as the one shown. We purchased this set directly from Britains and have stored it for over 25 years in our climate-controlled, smoke-free warehouse. Nevertheless, the box, although stored carefully, may be in less-than perfect condition due to mishandling or mis-packing from the manufacturer. Boxes may have slight dings, rubs, tears or other flaws and are sold in as-is condition.

This box is part of the "Knights of the Sword" series which Britains debuted in 1986. The range included boxed sets, counterpacks, castles, a siege tower and numerous related accessory packs, some of them carded and others boxed. In some cases, they released different sets with the same set numbers as others in the range. This is why we are listing the bar code for each set when available.
