This is a single dismounted model.
Starlux, which produced a huge range of painted and unpainted plastic figures in France from the 1930s to the 1990s was one of the giants of the toy soldier industry. Sadly, their models are becoming increasingly difficult to find. Their acclaimed range of Napoleonic figures is what put them on the map, and is generally regarded as one of the high points in painted plastic model making. Each figure was cast by Starlux in separate pieces. The next step was to assemble each model, which added true dimensionality to the piece. The final step was having their in-house artists painstakingly decorate each model in historically accurate uniforms. The Napoleonic range was titled "Super Starlux," as these models boasted the most sophisticated of all their paint jobs. All figures are in mint condition and were produced before the 1990s.
