Painted Plastic 60mm (about 2 3/8 inches high)
Starlux, which produced a huge range of painted and unpainted plastic figures in France from the 1930s to the 1990s, was one of the giants of the toy soldier industry. Sadly, their models are becoming increasingly difficult to find. Their acclaimed range of Napoleonic figures is what put them on the map, and is generally regarded as one of the high points in painted plastic model making.

The 8000 Napoleonic Range was their earliest version of this period's soldiery. Long out of production by the time we began doing business with them in the 1980s, we persuaded the manufacturer to reissue this range for us in the early 1990s. As far as we know, these are the only examples of the 8000 range one can find on the market. All figures are in mint condition.
