Nine painted Persian heavy infantry in authentic costume, arms and armor. Persia fielded numerous units of heavy infantry, armored in superior protective gear. These troops wore chain mail and reinforced cuirasses, and fought with spear, bow and sword. They were meant to oppose the best troops their enemies could field. The set is in perfect scale to Expeditionary Force's Greeks, as well as Toy Soldiers of San Diego's and Fencibles' ancient-era figures.
