Figure is sold as shown, with sergeant torso, stetson hat, white gloves, dark blue shirt, light blue trousers, in mint condition. Although originally created to be swappable, we don't recommend it, as the plastic can sometimes shear off. Items are sold in as-is condition and we cannot replace any pieces. Weapons are not removable, and each figure is made up of a separate head (kepi or campaign hat), upper body and lower body. The sword is held fixed in the hand. The pommel of the sword may be slightly separated, but it is still held firmly in place.
Following in the footsteps of Britain's 'Swoppet' line, Timpo created a range of 'Swap-type' figures in the 1970s which is among the most popular lines we sell. Using a secret method (now lost forever) in which various colored plastics were fused together into one figure, Timpo created the first fully colored soldiers without the use of paint. This unique process avoided the chipping, fading and other signs of aging that painted plastic figures had experienced.
