| When people think of plastic toy soldiers, they most likely
picture unpainted 'little green army men.' But many collectors
and enthusiasts prefer their 'guys' painted in historically
correct uniforms. Some paint their own figures, but others
prefer to purchase them hand-painted by our in-house painters.
We paint 54mm and other scale figures as listed in this section,
and we also paint to order. You'll find two types of paint
service listed: fully-painted and basic-painted. 'Fully-painted'
figures are carefully painted from head to toe in 10-15 colors,
with enormous attention paid to uniform detail. 'Basic-painted'
figures are generally only decorated in 3-4 colors, including
flesh, hair, weapons and other details, with the basic plastic
color of the figure left untouched. We have been offering our
painted plastic figures for 20 years, but in the past couple of
years several manufacturers have begun offering machine-painted
sets of their own. These mass-produced sets offer varying
degrees of detail, and are a welcome addition to the field.
